
ABOUT
Helen Neppl is a production designer currently based in Chicago. She graduated summa cum laude from Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts in 2024, earning a BFA in Film Production with an emphasis in Production Design and a minor in History.
Recently, she worked on the art department as Prop Master on the indie feature film "Greg's Going to Rehab" in 2024, shooting on location in St. Louis, MO.
Beyond production design, Helen has work experience in other areas of the media and entertainment industry. In 2022, she worked as a Multimedia Intern for Sidley Austin LLP, where she was a photographer for firm events & ID photos, as well as a crew member for video productions. In 2023, she interned with the Student World Impact Film Festival, serving as a member of the festival jury and providing feedback on student films from all around the world.
She graduated from Glenbrook South High School in 2020, where she held leadership positions including station manager of GBS TV, Executive Producer of The Glenbrook South Report, and social media manager for the school's theatre department. During the 2024-2025 school year, Helen returned to Glenbrook South as a faculty member, working as a long-term substitute teacher for the TV & Film program.
